Join Discord
Read #rules and #announcements. Grab any whitelist or application info if required.

Install FiveM
Download from fivem.net. Use a clean GTA V copy — no mod menus, ever.

Connect to Yorkshire RP
Press F8 in FiveM or use the connect button below. Create a realistic character — name, look, and backstory matter.

Stay in character
First hours are onboarding. Ask in-character when unsure. Fail RP = warnings or removal — we protect the server.
03 — Server rules
Play fair. Stay in RP.
Breaking these rules ruins scenes for everyone. Staff may warn, kick, ban, or character-wipe depending on severity. Ignorance is not an excuse.
- Stay in character (IC) — No OOC in voice unless agreed (e.g. quick "two secs"). Use /ooc or Discord for OOC chat.
- Value your life (Fear RP) — If outnumbered or at gunpoint with no realistic escape, comply. Don't run into death for loot.
- No RDM / VDM — No random killing or using vehicles as weapons without proper RP lead-up.
- New Life Rule (NLR) — After death or capture, forget that specific scenario. Don't return for revenge for 15–30 mins (follow staff timers).
- Powergaming — Don't force outcomes (/me that can't be countered). Give others a chance to react.
- Metagaming — Don't use Discord, streams, or info your character wouldn't know IC.
- Fail RP — Unrealistic actions (cop baiting with no story, ignoring injuries, breaking character) aren't allowed.
- Respect — Racism, slurs, hate, and sexual harassment = instant ban. Keep toxicity out of the city.
- Scene before violence — Robberies, kidnaps, and hits need buildup. No hitting strangers "for fun."
- Cooldowns — Don't chain robberies or bank jobs back-to-back. Give PD and civs breathing room.
- Hostages — Real hostages only; no friends posing as hostages. Treat hostages with Fear RP.
- Gang / turf — Respect agreed turf rules and staff events. No drive-by on spawn or safe zones.
- Looting — Only loot after RP concludes. Don't strip players in safe zones or during active staff sits.
- Cop interaction — Don't provoke PD without reason. Pursuits must stay realistic — no infinite pit spam.
- PD / EMS are players — Treat them as characters, not NPCs. Quality arrests and medical RP only.
- No cop baiting — Don't break laws purely to start chases. Have a story.
- Corruption — Only if whitelisted/approved by leadership. Secret corrupt cops still follow Fear RP.
- EMS priority — Injured? Roleplay pain. Don't respawn to skip EMS unless rules allow.
- Reports — Use Discord tickets with clips and timestamps. No arguing mid-scene in OOC.
- Zero tolerance cheats — Mod menus, exploits, duping, ESP, aim assist = permanent ban.
- Combat logging — Disconnecting to avoid RP consequences is bannable.
- Exploit reporting — Report bugs; don't abuse them. Repeat abusers are removed.
- Streams & clips — Don't use stream sniping or clip meta to gain IC advantage.
- Alt accounts — One main character unless staff approves alts. Ban evasion = hardware-level ban.

Civilian life
Trucking, mechanics, clubs, real estate, fishing — build a legit name and employ others.
Underworld
Street crews, imports, heists — high risk, high reward. Organised RP beats random violence.
Emergency services
Apply for PD or EMS. Training, ranks, and serious scenes — protect the server's realism.
Business owner
Open shops and venues with staff approval. Events drive the economy — host them well.
